Thanks for Your Positive Feedback
If you follow our social media then you know that we highly value patient feedback, and it brings us so much joy to read about their positive experiences.
Here are just some of our favorite reviews from the year – showing how we’ve helped solve orthodontic emergencies and keep smiles wide for a whole family!
“3 out of my 4 children have needed braces. We always get great care and great service. The older 2 children have great smiles and healthy mouths (the last child still has 1 year of treatment to go). I would definitely recommend Dr. O to anyone looking for an Orthodontist.” – Lisa Bucht
“My daughter had her retainer come unglued while away at college. I just called and Dawn did her magic to get my daughter in while she is home next week on fall break. Thanks, Dawn!” – Myka Eckert
We also like to reward those who leave reviews with a special gift. We gave out over $400 in prizes this year to lucky winners like Dana!
That’s not all – we also awarded $500 off the total cost of treatment to sisters Arianna and Yasmin for starting their treatment with us in June.
How Oppenhuizen Orthodontics Gives Back
We’ve always had a heart for giving back and empowering patients who are suffering from financial hardship and debilitating dental conditions to get the masterpiece smile that they deserve.
2021 has been no exception. Throughout this year we’ve had lots of opportunities to help those who need assistance get the orthodontic care necessary for better oral health and a confident smile. In all, Oppenhuizen Orthodontics was able to donate services totaling $29,100 to patients and bring new life to their hopes for a better smile. We’re so thankful for the opportunity to partner with each of these patients and be part of their life in a meaningful way.
Here are Some of Our Favorite Stories from 2021
Every month we publish new content that features patient stories, helpful information on orthodontic care, and updates from the team here at Oppenhuizen Orthodontics. While our goal is always to help educate and edify our valued patients, we occasionally get feedback on how a specific article was particularly helpful or insightful.
One patient’s parent shared the following feedback in response to Dr. Oppenhuizen’s story about personal struggles with a socially debilitating smile during his childhood:
“Thank you so much for the video on socially debilitating smiles! Showing vulnerability equals connection with others. [My son] and I were surprised by Dr. Oppenhuizen’s experience and the sharing of his ‘goofy smile’ made [my son] feel understood. We are so grateful that Dr. Oppenhuizen and staff go out of their way to care for cleft lip and palate kids.”

Earlier this year, Dr. Oppenhuizen also spoke with Pam McCormick, a patient who started her braces treatment at age 70. An inspiring story, we knew that Pam’s experience would resonate with the many adults who are considering orthodontic care but feel that the time has passed.
The results were shocking!
Almost 1,000 people have viewed the video to hear more about Pam’s experience with getting braces later in life and how she’s excited for the results. Thanks for sharing your story, Pam.
