How to Research Your Orthodontic Options
There are myriad ways to research your orthodontic options today. Many of our patients begin their research by asking friends and family about their experience at Oppenhuizen Orthodontics. Still many others take to the internet and do a deep dive into reviews to get a sense of how satisfied other patients are with their treatment. Here’s a review from Lee Anne Barr:
I just moved to Holland and needed orthodontic services and previous reviews were great so I booked an appointment. Well the reviews were correct. Staff was very friendly and the place was very clean and inviting. Dr. O was super kind and really helped in my decision making. Thank You.
Based on research conducted with past and current patients, less than half of our patients come to us by way of a dentist referral. As Dr. Greg Oppenhuizen shares, that’s just fine with us, and it should be even more.
“If you want to know what to do about your smile and teeth…ask us. This is what we do for a living. Coming in here and having us do a total exam, there’s no financial commitment on your part, you can’t lose. And you’re going to find out what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, how it needs to be done. And then you can have any questions that you might have answered for you.” – Dr. Greg Oppenhuizen
No cost, no obligation consultations
If you have questions about your bite or alignment, there’s no reason to wait. More than half the patients we see did not come to us from a dentist referral. They relied on word of mouth and doing their own research.
Our free, no obligation consultations are the best way to get started. We’re happy to welcome you in person at one of our offices, or you can begin online by sending us a few photos using our Smilesnap app. We call it a “Smile Selfie.”
Adult Orthodontics Might Not Be What You Think
Very often during our free consultations, we discover things that patients didn’t even know about their teeth. Many are relieved to discover that common problems don’t need to be expensive and can be resolved in as little as six months. And as Don Morren shared on our blog, there’s no time like the present to get started:
“I had a couple of issues with my teeth, and I realized I was going to need to chew for another twenty years or so. [A]s teeth would begin to move, it’s almost artistic the way that [Dr. O] can change a person’s teeth–make a person confident in their smile again.”
